Into the Wild

Into the Wild is a game where I worked as the sole developer, programmer and audio designer. It's an open-world survival game in the style of games such as The Long Dark and Arid, with a heavy focus placed on immersive 3D audio and reactive music. It's currently live on Steam as a free game, and to date has had over 10,000 downloads and nearly 2,000 people have played it for more than an hour, as well as sitting at 74% positive reviews on Steam. It features over 500 lines of dialogue in English, with a German language version in development, as well as over 30 minutes of music composed by myself which utilizes a reactive music system to ensure the music always matches the situation

Freefall Audio

Since Into the Wild's release in August 2024 I have been working as a technical audio engineer with the company Freefall Audio, a company specializing in sound and music for video games. During my time with Freefall I have been working closely with the rest of the team on implementing audio assets into various, as of now, unreleased game projects. My responsibilities with the company cover working with middleware such as Wwise and FMOD, as well as doing in-engine coding, in order to create advanced audio implementation solutions to ensure that the audio assets created by other team members are implemented in a way that fits the vision of the game developers we work for.

Aberration

Aberration is a passion project indie horror game inspired by H.P. Lovecraft and the cosmic horror genre. I am working in a small team as the audio lead, as well as one of the programmers. It is still in the early stages of development and is due for release as a free game on Steam sometime during late 2025-early 2026.

Game Audio Demo

As mentioned in the "About Me" section, over the years I have created numerous small games, both in my free time and as part of my study courses. Whilst never publicly released, I used these games as practice to hone my skills in coding and game development, as well as audio asset creation and implementation. Below is a demo I created using a third person character controller to be able to explore an environment utilizing 3D audio as well as reactive music implemented using FMOD
